For decades, Automobili Lamborghini has been known for incorporating advanced and lightweight carbon fiber technology into its automobiles to enhance performance and agility. “We decided to use carbon fiber leatherette panels on the back and side wings to add a technical edge to the chair’s aesthetic. It’s also a subtle nod to our Pinnacle Edition chair, which featured a carbon fiber top shell,” said Gabriel. “The carbon fiber panels are framed by black microsuede for an even more stealthy look.”
“The design elements flow seamlessly from the chair to the matching Secretlab MAGNUS Pro for Automobili Lamborghini Edition for a cohesive look when you put them all together,” said Gabriel. “Our goal was to create a high-performance setup that mirrors the understated sophistication of Automobili Lamborghini cars, with the use of carefully curated materials and subtle design details such as their signature colors and Y-shaped pattern,” For an added touch of quiet luxury, the Secretlab MAGNUS Pro for Automobili Lamborghini Edition comes complete with a microsuede MAGPAD™ Desk Mat, covered in a lavish textured nap finish that feels incredible under your fingertips.
As a nod to the brand’s Italian roots, the Secretlab MAGNUS Pro for Automobili Lamborghini Edition and matching MAGNUS Cable Management Bundle XL also feature the green, white, and red of the Italian flag. With only 50 pieces ever crafted worldwide, the Pinnacle Edition is a symbol of exclusivity from start to finish — proudly indicated by a numbered “01 di 50” badge on the back of the chair. The final wave of Secretlab for Automobili Lamborghini Pinnacle Edition was released back in August 2023, marking the last chance for avid collectors and enthusiasts to secure their very own piece of this exclusive collaboration.
A custom carbon fiber top plate was created specially for the chair, drawing inspiration from Automobili Lamborghini’s iconic angular form. Carbon fiber is prized for its exceptional strength and aerodynamic performance, making it the material of choice for Automobili Lamborghini’s fastest super sports cars.
To ensure that it could be shaped properly and seamlessly incorporated into the chair, no effort was spared to understand carbon fiber as a material. Secretlab engineers painstakingly evaluated different types of carbon fiber, each with a unique weave pattern, thickness, and resin composition.
“The carbon fiber shell alone went through over 20 iterations, with multiple refinements to various stages of the manufacturing process, including curing and finishing. Multiple iterations were also required to optimize its structural design and find the right balance between strength, flexibility, and weight,” said Gabriel.
