Senior Product Designer Alicia takes us through how they designed a full suite of accessories around Secretlab MAGNUS.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every component of the Secretlab MAGNUS Pro<\/a> <\/strong>and MAGNUS Evo<\/a><\/strong> feels like part of a seamless whole. Our engineers spent hundreds of hours designing and tweaking every element and accessory to make the user experience as fluid and effortless as possible \u2014 both in terms of form and function.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To streamline your cable management and keep your space tidy, our engineers designed magnetic cable anchors and sheaths<\/strong><\/a> that work anywhere along the steel chassis of our standing desk. The width of our cable sheaths perfectly matches the width of the desk legs for a flawless fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secretlab MAGNUS Desk Riser<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With a custom-engineered C-clamp mount, the Secretlab MAGNUS Desk Riser<\/a> <\/strong>fits perfectly into the cable tray opening of MAGNUS Pro, as well as on the full-metal rear edge of the MAGNUS Evo. Its ultra-sturdy steel frame holds up to 154lbs (70kg), and is stable enough to let you install your monitor arms directly on the riser \u2014 a first on the market. Fully compatible with our magnetic cable anchors, the desk riser seamlessly extends the usable space on your MAGNUS desk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our engineers also took extra care with the screws and fasteners, making sure that they were completely hidden for an even sleeker look. And with the same clean, angular lines that define every Secretlab MAGNUS, the MAGNUS Desk Riser feels like an extension of your desk from the moment you install it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secretlab MAGNUS Monitor Arms\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Monitor arms are also a key part of any enthusiast\u2019s setup. They provide an even wider range of adjustments for your monitor and free up space on your desk. But many existing solutions are difficult to install \u2014 and may look out of place on your MAGNUS standing desk. Every Secretlab MAGNUS Monitor Arm<\/a><\/strong> is characterized by clean, sharp lines, taking cues from every MAGNUS\u2019s deft melding of minimalist design and maximalist function.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAGNUS Monitor Arms feature a C-clamp mount with a unique top-screw design that allows the entire mounting mechanism to be accessed from the top, so there\u2019s no need to fumble with cumbersome clamp screws beneath your desk. With integrated cable routing channels and magnetic cable guides, display and power cables are easily routed along each arm and hidden in your cable tray. This keeps the surface of your desk free from unsightly cords and tangled cables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To hold the biggest ultrawide monitors, we engineered the Secretlab MAGNUS Monitor Arm (Heavy Duty Edition) <\/strong><\/a>\u2014 designed for screens up to 35lbs (16kg) and 57\u201d wide. A unique double lock mechanism and heavy-duty tilt pivot keeps your ultrawide screen secure, ensuring it never tilts forward or sags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secretlab Laptop Mount Attachment<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To make sure that nothing ever seems out of place on your desk, we also engineered a dedicated mount for your laptop. The Secretlab Laptop Mount Attachment<\/strong><\/a> attaches to our MAGNUS Monitor Arm and lifts your laptop away from your desk, freeing up valuable space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When designing our laptop mount, we looked at existing stands on the market and set to work figuring out how to improve them, adding a dedicated handle cutout for easy adjustability.\u00a0 This also allows you to take advantage of the full range of motion of our MAGNUS Monitor Arm, so you can quickly reposition your laptop when you switch between sitting and standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secretlab Premium PC Mount<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The standard ATX PC case can occupy a lot of space on your desk. But setting your PC on the floor quickly leads to dust buildup. So we designed the Secretlab Premium PC Mount<\/a><\/strong> to free up space on your desk, while still keeping your PC elevated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We measured the most popular cases on the market, including the NZXT H5, H7, and H9 and Fractal Define series, to ensure that our mount would be able to comfortably secure them in place. The Premium PC Mount also lines up perfectly with the width of the leg column on MAGNUS Pro and MAGNUS Evo, so your PC almost looks like it is suspended in space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And with a dedicated power outlet in the cable tray, part of our proprietary integrated power supply column, you can power your PC without needing to run a cable to a wall outlet. This means no extra cables running from your standing desk, so you never have to worry about cable strain.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To eliminate cable strain when you raise the height of MAGNUS Pro or MAGNUS Evo, the Secretlab Magnetic Ethernet Cable Extender<\/a><\/strong> conceals a coiled and retractable Ethernet cable that neatly extends when you raise your desk height, effectively taking the strain off the cable. The cable extender magnetically attaches to either desk leg \u2014 once it snaps on, you can hardly tell it\u2019s there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
